Day 26: His Strength In Me | Lamp & Lily | Kingdom Creations by Lily

Some days you wake up already tired. The list is long, your energy is short, and you are not sure how you will make it through.

Isaiah does not promise that you will never feel weary. He promises that those who hope in the Lord will have their strength renewed.

Scripture

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

Renewed, not self-produced

The strength in this verse is not something you generate by pushing harder. It is renewed as you place your hope in the Lord. It is exchanged, not manufactured.

His strength flows into the places where yours has run out.

Soar, run, walk

The verse moves from soaring, to running, to walking. Some days you will feel like you are flying. Other days, just walking without fainting is the victory.

All three are His strength at work. Do not discount the walking days.

Rooted and steady

Like a deep-rooted tree, strength in Christ is not always flashy. It is steady. It holds through storms. It keeps showing up.

Ask Him for enough strength for today, and trust Him to renew it again tomorrow.

Today's affirmation

His strength is at work in me today.

Today's prayer

Lord, I am tired, and I need Your strength. Renew me as I put my hope in You, and help me keep walking even on the hard days. Amen.

Reflection question

Where do you need God to renew your strength today?
