Day 3: Created With Purpose | Lamp & Lily | Kingdom Creations by Lily

Scripture:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” — Ephesians 2:10

You were created on purpose, with purpose, and for purpose.

In a world that constantly invites comparison, it can be easy to look at someone else’s gifts, opportunities, or calling and wonder whether your own life truly matters. But God did not create you by accident. He formed you with intention, placed unique gifts inside of you, and gave you a story that can bring hope to someone else.

You do not have to have every answer about your future to live purposefully today. Purpose is often revealed one faithful step at a time. It is found in the way you love your family, encourage a friend, serve with compassion, show up with integrity, pray for someone in need, or obey God when no one else sees.

The good works God has prepared for you may not always feel big or public. Sometimes they are quiet acts of faithfulness that make an eternal difference. A kind word. A brave decision. A willingness to forgive. A step toward the dream God placed in your heart.

Your purpose is not about proving your value. You already have value because you belong to God. Your purpose is about partnering with Him and allowing His love to flow through your life.

Today, stop measuring your journey against anyone else’s. Ask God to show you the next faithful step. He is still writing your story, and He can use every part of it for His glory.

Today’s Affirmation:

I was created with purpose. God has placed gifts, grace, and good works within my life for His glory.

Today’s Prayer:

God, thank You for creating me with intention. Help me stop comparing my journey to others and trust the purpose You have placed inside of me. Show me the good work You are inviting me to do today, and give me the courage to walk in obedience. Amen.

Reflection Question:

What good work might God be inviting you to do today?
