Day 1: You Are Chosen | Kingdom Creations by Lily
Scripture:
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit.” — John 15:16
There are seasons when it is easy to question whether you matter, whether your life has direction, or whether God truly sees you. But Jesus speaks directly to that uncertainty: You are chosen.
Your worth is not based on how much you accomplish, how others respond to you, or whether you feel confident today. Before you could earn anything, prove anything, or get everything right, God saw you and called you His own.
Being chosen by God does not mean life will always feel easy. It means you never walk through it without purpose. He has placed gifts, compassion, wisdom, and a unique calling inside of you. The fruit He wants to grow through your life may look like kindness in a hard moment, courage to begin again, forgiveness when it feels difficult, or obedience in a small step.
You do not have to compare your calling to anyone else’s. Your assignment is not to become someone else—it is to faithfully become who God created you to be.
Today, lift your head. Walk with the quiet confidence that you are not forgotten, overlooked, or accidental. You are chosen, loved, and appointed for a purpose that only you can fulfill.
Today’s Affirmation:
I am chosen and appointed by God. My life has purpose, and He will bear fruit through me.
Today’s Prayer:
Lord, thank You for choosing me. When I feel unseen or unsure, remind me that my identity is secure in You. Help me walk boldly in the purpose You have placed on my life, trusting that You will produce fruit through my obedience. Amen.
